From our beginning in 1950, Empro has been guided by one basic belief: THE CUSTOMER IS KING. This philosophy has served us well as we grew from our humble beginnings in a 2-car garage to our present facility situated on 10 acres northeast of Indianapolis, IN. We moved to this location in 1968. Since moving we have expanded a number of times to increase our efficiencies to meet the needs of our customers. We have produced millions of shunts from 0.1 amp to 60,000 amps. We have an extensive selection of standard shunts in twelve basic designs and types. Additionally, our engineers have designed thousands of custom shunts to meet the requirements of special applications.
